Career Planning helps adults enrolled in New Jersey DDD programs explore their interests and strengths and build a plan toward a job. Priority Group Services NJ provides this service in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Monmouth and Ocean counties.

How to start

From your plan to the first session

Talk to your support coordinator

Ask them to add career planning to the Individualized Service Plan (ISP) and to list Priority Group Services NJ as the provider. You can also send us a referral and, with your permission, we contact the coordinator.

We meet you

We learn about the person, their goals and the times that work, and we confirm what the plan authorizes.

Services begin

We deliver the service as written in the plan and keep the support coordinator updated.

Career Planning is provided as written in the person's plan. We provide this service in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Monmouth and Ocean counties. If Priority Group Services NJ is your support coordination agency, DDD's conflict-free rules mean your coordinator will help you choose another provider for it.

Our support coordinator works for Priority Group Services NJ. Can you still provide this service?

No. Under DDD's conflict-free rules, the agency that coordinates your services does not also provide them. Your coordinator will help you choose another approved provider.
