Priority Group Services
Interpreter & interpretation staffing · New Jersey

The right interpreter, in the room or on the line.

Priority Group Services NJ is a Newark-based staffing agency. Language access is one of the staffing lines we run: we recruit, screen and place qualified interpreters for healthcare, education, community, and legal and court settings — spoken languages and American Sign Language, on-site, by video or by phone.

Where we place interpreters

Interpretation is staffing — so we staff it properly.

A courtroom, a clinic and a parent-teacher meeting need different interpreters. We match the person to the setting, not just to the language.

Healthcare

Appointments, admissions, discharge, home and community care visits — where accuracy and privacy both matter.

Education

Parent-teacher conferences, special-education meetings, enrollment and family events for schools and districts.

Community & social services

Public agencies, human-services programs, housing and benefits appointments, community meetings.

Legal & court settings

Attorney–client meetings, depositions, hearings and court proceedings, with interpreters who hold the credential the proceeding requires.

Levels of interpreter staffing

The right level for the assignment.

Not every conversation needs the same interpreter. We staff to the level the setting calls for — and we tell you plainly when a request needs a credential we will have to source.

Community

General & community interpreters

Fluent, screened interpreters for everyday service conversations, outreach and community events.

Specialized

Healthcare & education interpreters

Interpreters trained in the vocabulary, ethics and privacy rules of clinical and school settings.

Legal

Legal & court-setting interpreters

For proceedings that require a court-approved or certified interpreter, we place only interpreters who hold that credential, verified before assignment.

ASL

American Sign Language

ASL interpreters for Deaf and hard-of-hearing clients, matched to the setting and to any credential it requires.

Coverage

Single assignments to ongoing coverage

One appointment, a recurring schedule, or a standing roster for a program or contract.

Short notice

When the date moves

Remote video or phone interpreting when travel time is the only thing in the way.

Before any assignment

How we screen interpreters.

  • Language proficiency checked
  • Credentials verified
  • Background screened
  • References checked
  • Confidentiality agreement
  • Code of ethics briefing
How we deliver

Three ways to interpret. One contact who answers.

On-site

An interpreter in the room, for meetings where the person needs someone beside them — across New Jersey.

Video remote (VRI)

Scheduled or short-notice video interpreting, including ASL, on the platform your organisation already uses.

Over the phone

Scheduled phone interpreting for calls, follow-ups and appointments where video is not needed.

Tell us the language, the setting, the date and whether it is on-site, video or phone. If a request needs a specific credential or a rare language, we will tell you honestly how we can cover it and how long it will take.

Request an interpreter

Tell us the language and the setting.

A sentence is enough — the language, where and when, and whether it is on-site, video or phone. Public buyers: a solicitation or contract number is welcome too.
