Interpreter Services for DDD Families
Communication access is not an extra — it is the foundation of person-centered support. Priority Group Services provides interpreter services so individuals and families can participate fully in planning meetings, services, and community life, whatever language they speak.
What Our Interpreter Services Cover
New Jersey’s DDD community is wonderfully diverse, and services only work when everyone at the table genuinely understands and is understood. Our interpreter services bridge language gaps across the moments that matter — service planning, assessments, appointments, and family communication.
Interpreters working with our teams understand disability-services terminology and the importance of accuracy, neutrality, and confidentiality in every interaction.

How It Works With Your NJ DDD Plan
Services are delivered through New Jersey’s Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) programs. Your Support Coordinator adds Interpreter Services to the individual’s person-centered plan, and we take it from there — matching staff, building the schedule, and reporting progress against the plan’s goals. If you don’t yet have a Support Coordinator, we can point you in the right direction.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which languages are available?
Coverage depends on the language and scheduling — contact us with your family’s language and we will confirm arrangements. We serve one of the most diverse regions in New Jersey and plan accordingly.
When should we request an interpreter?
As early as possible — ideally when scheduling the meeting or service — so the right interpreter is arranged in advance.
Does using an interpreter cost the family anything?
When interpretation is part of delivering covered DDD services, it is arranged as part of the service — ask us about your specific situation and plan.
